Exploring the Green Lanes of Wales
Those who know me, know that I have been freelancing for Ice 4x4 for a couple of years now. The owner of Ice (also named Neil), saw my photos on social media back in the day and asked if I would like to come on board to assist Ice 4x4 with their social media, website, and social presence in the market.
They were already crafting amazing off-road and overland Land Rover builds, and just wanted to let everyone know about it. After meeting Neil, Shaun, and Charlie, I was immediately blown away by the quality of their work, and knew these guys needed to have their presence in the market known.
With a instagram following of 72 at the time (which is now some 2082 as a result of my work with Ice 4x4), they now have the market presence they truly deserve; after all, they build some of the best off-road/ overland trucks in the UK, specialising in the Discovery 2. In fact, I even got them to build me a photography/ overland truck.
As a result of all the time spent with Ice 4x4, we have become very good friends, and often go off-roading together. Usually I don’t drive, as I am there for one purpose only… to capture the trip and antics. So, come February of this year, we loaded up the trucks, and headed to the trails. Below is a little gallery of this trip. The weather was perfect, and the landscapes breathtaking.
Good times with mates aside, I love these trips; it doesn’t feel like work, and I enjoy photographing the trucks built by Ice 4x4 in action too much to consider it “work”. It is also a good reminder of what my truck can do, when I am off overloading with my wife, or driving to remote locations for photoshoots. It is good to know should I be out and the trails get tough, I will be fine with a truck built by Ice 4x4.
This trip in question (which this short blog is technically about) went without fault. No break downs, amazing trails, and serious fun. I couldn’t wait to get home to edit the photos and video which I did. Head over to my youtube channel (@trailcultoverland), if you want to take a look (please like and subscribe if you do)!
My relationship with Ice 4x4, is a clear indication of what I can do for companies big and small. I love learning about your brand and the intentions of where you want your brand to go. Although I happily am available to photograph or video certain aspects of your business, I also get excited about large start to finish projects, where I am able to fully partner with you, to assist with all aspects of photographing and videoing needs.
Ad campaigns, social medial, website photography/ video, or teasers of your new or upcoming products- contact me create imagery which will highlight your brand.
